I think Singapore could be Max's big chance.Red Bull are very good on this kind of circuit.

In theory the Mercs could struggle with this track.

I really do hope tha Max does not stuff it into the wall.He was close in a slide this AM.

I think Ricardo is in a really good position to win too.

Looks like vettel's skill ran out along with any sort of sportsmanship. Talk about dangerously cutting someone off! Poor max.

Yes poor kimi too - what a great start he made. As max stated in interview, why risk closing them out at that stage when you are fighting for a championship. Too risky when he can’t see what is there, he was assuming he could close max out and made no allowance for other drivers coming up the side. I think he is feeling rattled by the championship situation and took too big a risk.
Also shame for alonso who had an amazing start.

It seems when it came to race pace the Mercedes had loads despite being poor in qualifying trim.

I doubt anything will happen to vettel and it will probably be classed as a racing incident but there is no doubt max and kimi were parallel with the edge of the track and vettel moved across.

I see Ferrari are blaming Max.How the hell do they work that out.Living in cloud cockoo land perhaps.

It will most likely be put down as a racing incident but Vettel was clearly to blame by coming accross the entire track.

What planet are you on Chris? Don't you know Vettel can do no wrong? It was plain to see the Max should have gone vertical. Ipso facto, it was his fault entirely.

I rest my case.

Look you lot... it's clear who was at fault. If Kimi didn't get such a stonking start there would have been room for Seb to squeeze Max against the wall and there would have been no trouble at all. But because he got in the way, he must have caused it. He and Lewis were really the only ones to get good starts on the inters. Dan's was very tardy. Good thing for Valtteri that his was too, otherwise he'd have piled into the back of the mess.

So there we go. Kimi was to blame.

Hi.
Regarding good starts , dont forget alonso , unfortunatly for him , he ended up in the crash mix because of it .
As for the farrari max sandwich , i think they where told to get past max as quickly as possible , as red bull where one of the favourites on that track , as for hamilton and boltri , it was ment to be a damage limitation , they where gifted 1st and 3rd by vettel , but hamilton loves those conditions , he got his magic start , but almost got collected by vettel , he only just manged to slow enough , so vettel missed his nose by a small margin .
Of the 3 that crashed , i blame vetel as the main cause and kimi as second , as he seemed to go slightly right before his rear wheel had cleared max , causeing his and max rear wheels to connect , ripping kimis right rear off , and pushed kimi into vetel who was almost connecting with maxs front right at that moment and max was slowing to try and avoid colliding with vetel which he just managed to do , only to be collect on the bend , by kimis out of control car , vetel not knowing how bad his car was damaged managed to clear the bend , before spinning on his own fluids spilling out on the track.
Now Vetel is on the back foot regarding the championship , he may get rattled and do even more dangerous manouvers in the remaining races.
regards alan. 8)

You're right. I never thought of that. :( Either way, it wasn't Sebbie's fault.

Jos's post on twitter is brilliant a simple image of the three cars with directional arrows along the car and its path showing clearing that vettel and kimi where both turning into Max and a simple 'Ill say no more' caption
