Imagine a DC3 COTS

I think that the Manfred Jahn C-47 v3 is pretty close: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1J1H1roz_1s. I really like the interactive checklist function.

Re: Imagine a DC3 COTS
Hi.
I checked only the other day , still missing autopilot/inst lights sadly , but yes i can imagine an A2A dakota , could also imagine a PBY catalina , both aircraft have same radials as the b17 i believe , an both have same autopilot as the connie.
regards alan.

It is still beta but soon to be updated. The autopilot and interior lights are not yet impemented but will be soon.
It does however have a super interactive copilot who can be very funny. The hostess is good too.
Cheers Chris

Hi!
It´s a pity, that the nose of Manfreds plane has wrong shape. Internet is full of C-47/DC-3 pictures so
everybody can check there what I mean. Seen straight from the side, the nosecone
has more tapering silhouet. The line begins falling down steeper immediately from
the windshield. The plane is still in open beta, so I really hope that this detail will be
corrected in this otherwise beautyfull plane! Apologies for my lousy english.

Re: Imagine a DC3 COTS
I actually went and checked because you seemed so sure about your statement!
From what I have seen it is absolutely not the case. I see what you mean but it is all to do with the angle of the camera.
I have seen both real and manfred v3 dc3 shots showing a flatter appearance and also the sloping you refer to. It is because of the complex curve that makes up the nose that it can easily appear to be a different shape depending on how you view it.

Re: Imagine a DC3 COTS
a stearman with full accusim...that would make a legend even greater, i still wouldent mind an accusim pby catalina as they are amazing aircraft and had a great life..or a grumman goose, the default one i skinda lacking, i would be all over that..really cant wait to see what they have planned next as ive pretty much quit flying anyhting that isnt a2a XD

I keep clamoring for a Super Cub or a Cessna 180, but I'd actually be all over a COTS DC3 as well. Sign me up, but only after you make the Super Cub

Re: Imagine a DC3 COTS
Without a doubt I would trust only A2A to deliver a top notch DC-3 and the level of detail would be outstanding since there are many still flying around. In addition to the DC-3, the DC3T would also be a nice expansion product for it.
Re: Imagine a DC3 COTS
An accusimmed DC-3/C-47 would be the plane I would never stop flying... man, I would buy it twice!
