If it is a DC-4 I wonder if our crew will sound like John Wayne and Robert Stack?
My guess the angel with the harp represents the Angels of Harp at Floyd Bennett Field which do have a KC-97 that participated in the airlift. I wonder if they have a C-54 as well?

Very exciting stuff! I recently flew the 377 after a hiatus of several months and was reminded what a delight it is. To anyone here pondering purchase of the 377, it is absolutely worth having, but then 5 minutes of google research will tell you that unanimously.

Will be tuned in this weekend to find out more about the new COTS.

I'm not really into airliners, but my guess is the DC-3. Given how highly requested it is, I don't think A2A has the heart to troll their fans by making something else

What do you mean, "going to go"?

I think we're there. 8)

CONNIE is one that really would kick the gear shift ... they say its been done , but into another gear ! .... when one looks as for the DC-3 .. there is a supreme freeware in the wings , ..... I do wonder ..... going back to single engine .... a Skyraider would also really hook and cook it! 8)

Interesting thought.

Here's their inventory.

Hmmmm indeed. Nicely done! Lots to chew on here.

Virgo = August/September - maybe a Labor Day release?

Or...

DC6, as you suggest. A2A and PMDG collaborate on the port-over?

Or...

Astraea departs at the end of the Silver Age, and is supposed to return to usher in the new Golden Age. Appropriate for Wings of Silver. End of the Silver Age could be a DC-7.

Or...

There's the obvious point that if we're talking about Virgo, we're by definition talking about a constellation. Or a Constellation.

Never overlook the obvious... 8)

Hmmm interesting...... I'm thinking a C-54, but a Connie would be wonderful as well

There was this https://youtu.be/JmlnGtuylKA with the C97, so maybe the sister airplane in inventory?

Should be an entertaining weekend :D
