What if it's a jet?!?!?!? Would be great to simulate the black exhaust pouring out of a 707. But that's a long shot I guess.

But if they talk about the current tech being able to upgrade the 377.. maybe not.. but this is speculation time! (just trying to build up my resume for CNN  )

Curious to see what it is. Seeing as I took the plunge a way long time ago on the 377 and haven't looked back. So whatever this is will most likely be a must have. I know I would like, and would speculate. I am most likely wrong though so not even going to bother. Hopefully it is on the smaller side and has a pretty decent range at a minimum, and radials. Is about the only expectations I am going to set in my mind. Now the wait begins to the weekend!

As far as the DC-6 goes they have already said they are bringing it to FSX/P3D as this is an exercise for them to see the viability of porting the software from one to the other. They already mentioned a second project under development that they will be converting from FSX to X-Plane to see how that goes. Robert in his posts over there has talked about their love for A2A's products, and that they talk so I doubt they would do something in parallel like that.. I could be wrong, but it has been spoken before about it wasting resources when 2 developers make the same product. Dries up the monetary payback on development for both and dilutes the market. That is my 2 cents on that though.

How many airport sceneries do we have that have been made by two or more developers? More than one plane has been that route, as well.

I hate to speculate...but I'm really happy the 377 is being cracked open again for a bit of an upgrade! (Constellation... :D )

While we're all speculating - has anyone started measuring the "reserved" box in that A2A fleet screenshot to figure out what would fit in there?

(There - that ought to keep everybody busy for a while!)

In the lower right hand corner of the reserved box is some kind of a symbol or image. A clue...

Have at it, guys.

Looks like some sort of winged figure standing on a mountain, possibly holding something.

Or are we getting into Rorschach territory?

Not yet finding any matches.

What about the C-54/DC-4? I assume A2A would want access to the real thing and the Berlin Airlift Foundation that helped with the 377 has a C-54.

If it is a DC-4 I wonder if our crew will sound like John Wayne and Robert Stack?
