Hi Everyone,
I've been through the other topics with this issue but so far have not been able to rectify it on my end. I also completed the 10-03-15 Update.
Please see the below image, but I cannot get the radio to the correct frequencies. It is always .010 off the required frequency. In this case, selecting 122.800 gives me 122.790 in FSINN/VATSIM and in the Cockpit.
Any ideas on what I should try next?
Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM

Bump
Any ideas?, and I've just noticed that I probably should have posted in the FSX section, not the Accu-Sim section. Sorry. Would a moderator like to move the thread? (at their discretion)

Re: Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM
Hello,
I think this can sometimes be caused by the default flight and is a bit of a known MSFS platform bug in which the places sometimes don't change correctly or get stuck. I'll move it to the main forum incase any other VATSIM users can help you
thanks,
Lewis

Thanks Lewis, I'm afraid I'm not sure where you moved it to?
My apologies and thanks for assisting.

Re: Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM
*Bump*
Hello! me again. So I had no luck with fixing this at the time and, quite frankly, gave up.
I'm now running a fresh install of FSX, could someone please remind me the correct install order for Wings of Power 3: Spitfire?, I'm now having issues with the prop not working and no sound in the cockpit. I've searched the forums and tried what others have done to fix it, with no success. I think FSX just hates me...
Drivers and Win7 all updated.
FSX Steam Edition - fresh install
Then I had installed
->WOP3: Spitfire
-> WOP3: Spitfire Accusim
-> Accu-Feel_v.2
-> A2A Update 04/13/17
Which led to the above problems of the prop and sound missing, but the fixes that have been used elsewhere (default sound, simconnect etc) all failed.
Currently reinstalling FSX fresh to try again with your input.

Your install order looks good. The problem with no animations and sounds after updating has been known about for some time and I thought it had been fixed. Not so, it seems.
I maintain FSX Steam solely for the A2A Spitfire nowadays and can confirm that this problem still affects a solo install of the Accu-Sim Spitfire, after updating on-line. The only way I have ever been able to fix it, is by also installing the A2A Accu-Sim C172 for FSX and updating again. I believe any other GA aircraft from A2A will also fix it, but that's the one I usually install along with the Spitfire.
If you have no other A2A GA aircraft then I don't know what will fix it. The usual re-install of Simconnect does nothing to fix this problem in my experience, for example.

Re: Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM
At this stage I don't have any other aircraft, and if purchasing another fixes the visual/sound then I would be open to doing so. But I need to test that the radio will work for me, as noted with my previous error above. That was a game-breaking error.
I'll take the steps 1 by 1 on this fresh install, test at each and see how it goes for the radio as well. Won't be trying it until the weekend when i have the time.
Thanks bladerunner, simconnect did nothing here as well.

Re: Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM
Just so you know. You can install Accu-Feel any time. If you use the Accu-Sim package for the Spit then it's not relevant. It only affects other, NON-Accu-Sim aircraft.
Steve.
Edit: Thought I'd add some more useful information.
When, or if you get another model from A2A and the Spitfire is already installed and updated, you will have to force the Spit to update again.
You do this by going into the FSX\A2A\Spitfire folder and deleting the 'Update' folder that is inside. Then update once more.
Also, it may be a good idea to delete the Spitfire .dat file. You do this by going into <Your Documents>\A2A\FSX\Spitfire and delete any file with the .dat extension. Or you could just delete the whole Spitfire folder with the .dat files in.
The 'Update' folder will be re-created again when you update on-line. The folder with the .dat files in will get created when you actually fly the Spit. again.

Re: Spitfire Radio Freq out of Sync with FSX/FSInn/VATSIM
That should have been fixed several updates ago now. Are you using an old updater and not the latest one?
I'll get it looked at for the next update.
thanks,
Lewis

Don't worry about it Veers. There'll be a new one along any minute.
Lewis, shouldn't you be at least a Bird Colonel by now?
