Aha I see. I'll move the thread to the pilots lounge forum.

Thanks,

I like the idea of a C46 too. We need a nice accusimed radial twin.

It would cost that much just to store and maintain it.

Here is an image of C46 "Tinker Belle" at the Reading WWII airshow.
An amazing plane, and I was able to walk into her and talk to the pilots.
Significantly larger than a C47/DC3. I like the view out of the windows.
Kind of reminds me of the B377 in that regards.

I must admit the C46 is a personal fav of mine over the more popular other aircraft.

It would be really cool if this one joins the acusim force. I love the idea of flying the Hump in that one. Using a good FSX WX tool and good scenery.

Or doing cross wind take off's in the Canadian NWT, Buffalo style :)

Yes, a C-46 done in Accusim would be great. There is a nice one for FS9 by Libardo Guzman and Tom Gibson, but I'm not sure how well it transitions to FSX. Interestingly, it comes with 3 and 4 bladed props, which would be a great challenge for A2A to Accusim properly. Hope it happens eventually (after the Beaver   )

Cheers,
Mike

Scott/Lewis (I dont know who runs things round here), I think there may end up being a lot of demand for this aircraft, and a lot of customers if you were to do the c46, would you consider this? (By the way there is only one right answer to this  )

There is some pretty decent C-46 flying in the cable TV series "Ice Pilots". Just found out there was a season 5 this fall and I guess I missed it.

You should realise that A2A (Scott is the boss)plan their future development years ahead and with the best of respect your wishes are too late and amongst many others.
There have been many aircraft requested here, some most obscure, some very popular( radial Beaver for one)but A2A do their own development not ours.If you want to rule the development develop a company or ask Scott if you can buy him out.HAHA.
