Restoring the Shuttleworth Sea Hurricane

Post by Bomber_12th »

A fantastic documentary, from a time when a lot of great aviation documentaries were still being made.

(As a follow-up to the film, the aircraft of course has made its home at Old Warden in the years following the contract with the IWM. At the time, it was the only aircraft in the world with an operational Merlin III engine. Since then, there is now the restored Hurricane Mk.I R4118, Spitfire Mk.I P9374, and Spitfire Mk.Ia N3200, which also all operate with the rare Merlin III engine.)
