40th Anniversary of Cyclone Tracy

This month marks the 40th anniversary of the destruction of Darwin by Cyclone Tracy.
I was a young sailor serving in the RAN at HMAS Coonawarra, in Darwin at the time. The memories live on.
I have just come across a fantastic web site that chronicals the airlift of survivors from Darwin in incredible detail.
