A2A C-172 on Floats?

Post by SkyHawk024 »

just out of curiosity since the AccuSim J-3 on floats is one of my favorites, will the up coming C-172 have a float variant or not? just being curious. :?:

That'd be great, although maybe as an addon to the base package. Don't want to delay anything :)

We've talked about it and are keeping this a possibility in the future.

Hopefully a very possible possibility!

Not having floats for the most realistic C172 in FSX would be a crime! ;)

+1 on a bush model.
Instead of a float version, I would get a lot more flying time with an amphibian model.

I would gladly pay extra for a Tundra and Amphibian future update.

One thing at a time... This 172 is so ahead of its time, we need this to first settle in before we start considering more things.

I'm simply enjoying the beautiful aircraft as it is, no changes necessary for me!

If I want to fly a float version of a 172 there's others out there that I can take for a spin. if I want true realism though this is the 172 of choice :)

I really like the idea of of a new A2A float plane. Would prefer it be something with a little bigger rubberband under the hood than the 172 so it will go a little faster than the Cub LOL. An A2A C182 series with Fixed, RG, and Float flavors would be awesome. The 182 not only has a little more pop under the hood, but is a true 4 seater, IMHO one of Cessna's best designs, great all around airplane.

I agree with Scott tho, let the 172 dust settle, then we can get excited for the next beauty.

Cheers
