Trucker, I would have to absolutely agree with you. I have always found the Staggerwing to be one of the most beautiful aircraft ever produced. Sadly, the A2A plan is already in implementation and has been for some time. :) Perhaps one day though!

I am with you both, the Staggerwing is one of the most beautiful flying machines ever crafted...particularly the G17S :D

Come to think of it, apart from the 1900D, I can't really think of a Beechcraft creation that is 'ugly'. Just about all of their designs have really nice astetic qualities.

Another beauty is the WACO SRE 8)

Oh well, one of these days.

I still think the Spartan Executive is the most beautiful single-engiend GA plane ever build:

+1

If they was ONE aircraft missing from the FSX lineup, that would indeed be the Beech D17 !

Hey Daube, is that Milton Shupe's Spartan?

I have to say, he and his design team always picked excellent subject aircraft for addons for FS2k2 and 2k4. I flew his Dash-7 all over the place back in the 2k2 days. Then of course Milton's Howard 500 was just a pure gem. I think the Howard 500 was my all time favorite plane for FS9. It was very unique, vintage, really fast, good range and short field performance, great VC. Milton's Spartan, Beech 18, Twin Commanders were also excellent choices too. Any one of those planes would make excellent accusim candidates as well.

If A2A is going in a GA direction and wants to tackle a vintage GA twin, an early Twin Commander would be an excellent choice...probably one powered by the Lycoming O-540, which they would have after doing the Comanche.

Cheers
TJ

That is Milton Shupe's Spartan Executive, although I still want my Accusim one

If A2A were to do a twin, I'd like to see something like a Beechcraft Baron, or a Twin Beech of sorts.

Indeed it's Milton's Spartan, coupled with some repaints I don't remember where I downloaded them from.
A very nice aircraft it is, and native FSX since a few years (original was in FS9 format, this one is in real FSX, with seld shadows, no transparency problems, etc...) Only problem it has is the starter torque is too low to fire the engine, and the inside windows are just a bit too dark.

YES! The Staggerwing is my all time favorite airplane. You can't beat looks of one! That or a Cessna 195.
