I'd like to offer my congratulations to all our British friends here, seeing that your countrymen did so well in the Tour de France. Mark Cavendish won the final stage on the Champs d'Elysses, with Bradley Wiggins becoming the first Brit to win the race, and Chris Froome in second.

Thanks very much!

I always get ridiculously nervous watching Cav go for a sprint finish. 5km to go and I can feel myself shaking

But chuffed for Wiggo! Been following Team Sky since they formed in 2010. In fact they were the team that got me into cycling. One thing that has annoyed me today though is the amount of people who have said that Wiggins has been doping to win this tour  I'm sure that if they did a quick bit of googling, they can hear Bradley's views on doping (binning his Cofidis jersey several years back when the team was caught up in a massive doping scandal), and more blunt from the man himself, this statement:

"Honestly, they're just f**king w**kers," Wiggins said. "I cannot be dealing with people like that. It justifies their own bone-idleness because they can't ever imagine applying themselves to anything in their lives. And it's easy for them to sit under a pseudo-name on Twitter and write that sort of s**t rather than get off their arses in their own life and apply themselves, and work hard at something and achieve something. And that's ultimately it."

I couldn't have put it better myself. Congrats to Wiggo, and to literally everyone (background staff included) for their efforts in this years TdF :D Now, did someone say Chris Froome winning the Vuelta a España this year?
