The entire A2A staff knows how to work with the warbird community. They''ve already worked with some of the best on their already released projects including the Cavanaugh Flight Museum where Fifi spends her winters.

even better news I just hope if they do make a Accusim B-29 it would have the ability to have a shared cockpit so i can have a co pilot.

well ounce again i have to get out the defibrillators for this..... I still fly the shockwave b-29 but it just dosn't feel right because it's age. anyways i can name three b-29's that would make great repaints FiFi, KeyBird, and Doc.

I say let's forget the B-29, it would be too long to re-build accu-sim from scratch. At least with the 377, they have the basis for a B-50, which is an even better version of the B-29.

We can only wish, and wait...

only thing is with a b-50 a b-50 id have a gripe over is the tacky look of the drop tanks it's a plane that just dosnt look good with them in my opinion but id have to say with the 377 it would be a great base for the b-50 (without the engine problems of course)... lets KickStart this post' heart shall we?

I'm in total agreement, the B-29 bomber is one of my all time favorites next to the B-17 and to be honest all the hard work has been done by the Boeing 377 accu-sim you could either go with the B-50 variant which is almost identical to the 377 or you could change the engines and have a B-29.

The B-50 was really just another variant of the 29['D' I believe, don't quite remember], but this plane was created RIGHT after WW2. Since Boeing was wanted to make a new plane anyways, the designated it the B-50.

I'd[as you could tell from the past few forums or so] would like a B-29 as well. But from reading these posts, the Boeing B-50 might be easier to accu-sim. The B-50 was literally just a B-29D.

well heres the way i see it a b-50 is more of newer plane in general from a b-29 and to top that off there are more b-50's around to model the plane with and there all on display at museums my point is that a b-29 would a be a delight due to the fact there are two fully equiped aircraft left the enola gay and the world renowned last flying b-29 FiFi and a third one doc which is currently under restoration which in conclusion makes a b-29 a more rare aircraft thats why not many people have modeled or even attempted to make a b-29 superfortress for fsx

Come to think of it...I couldn't find any FREEWARE let alone payware! Good point.

which is even more reason to bring back some of there old stuff and redo it or revamp it, or just use what you got for the 377 strato and convert that to a b-50.

I'll second that vote! I'd love to have an A2A B-29 in my hanger.

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!
