I just had a brilliant idea.

You guys should develop a KC-97 from your 377 package, as a companion product to your upcoming jets.

Well done on your brilliant idea. Unfortunately, the KC-97 idea has been discussed at length here almost since the day the Stratocruiser was released. Its not going to happen, apparently because there are major differences between the two aircraft, and it would almost be a new model from the ground up. Lewis' words, not mine.

But I agree, it would be nice to have one, along with about a thousand other aircraft we all want A2A to do.

As cool as it would be, I don't think it is going to happen.
But there is a good repaint that is out for the C-97-

It includes a new paint for exterior and interior, and new windows.

Here is the link- viewtopic.php?f=37&t=30937

Hope this help's!

They could possibly make the plane AI only. That should simplify it enough to make it a doable project as no interior or accusim would be needed, just exterior mods to the model would work. It could fly along with the probe out and one could try to hook up to it.

Yeah. I'm more interested in the refueling process from the point of view of the the refuelee.
