Accu-Feel: Global FSX Enhancement (Official VIDEOS)

Post by Lewis - A2A »

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Little surprise for you all today. We've been working on this for some time and we've managed to produce what we believe to be a great idea. An idea that quickly became concept, and before we knew into a project, then alpha, beta, and now a full product thanks to some great coding and some fresh talent.

Image

The product is called "Accu-Feel," which allows us to inject a "touch" of Accu-Sim into almost any aircraft in FSX, both default and third party (including GA and commercial airliners). The amazing thing is this is all accomplished without having to edit a single aircraft file. It's clean and modular, as it plugs into the core of FSX. The end result is an enhancement that is more like an FSX Upgrade.

Able to breathe new life into your hanger and to FSX, we at A2A Simulations are proud to announce and introduce the FSX simulation community to "Accu-Feel"

Below are some examples of 3rd party software tested with Accu-Feel:

Scott shot this video shortly after the release of Accu-Feel, to demonstrate the engine whine sounds heard with an opened canopy

Cody, from Jaggyroad, shot this video showing how much energy Accu-Feel adds to the powerful IRIS F-15E MUDHEN

This is an excellentuser-made video we spotted. This really shows not just Accu-Feel, but the quality of Carenado's aircraft, along with Orbx scenery.

We haven't shot any videos lately, but just tested the Captain Sim 737 v.0.6 with Accu-Feel, and it works nicely:

Oh me oh my, just watched this on Youtube. You guys and your secret projects :D

Just thinking about this. I have a couple of superb a/c like Ant's Tiger Moth, the OzX Grumman Goose and the LotusSim Albatross
that this is going to transform. And a beaut Saratoga from Carenado. I bet Carendao will be jumping up and down with glee
at how this will enhance their a/c. Certainly makes more of their products likely to be bought by me anyway. All that eye candy will
now have a little bit of A2A soul :D

Hi. I've just registered on these forums to say wow - this looks awesome and I will definitely be purchasing this when it comes out. I also know someone else who will be interested in this once they see the video.

I own the Piper Cub and P40 (Accusim versions) and was planning to purchase some more of your products this month. Looks like I will also be adding this to my wishlist :)

Thanks, Martin

This is excellent news guys. Thank you A2A staff for raising the bar again. Now my non A2A favorite planes will get at least some kind of accusim treatment. I will be able to fly my trusty old RealAir Scout, open the windows and hear the rush of wind. My favorite CH BF-108 will be even better and will be as close to an Accusimmed BF-108 as we could get.

What are the triggers for the wind sound? I noticed in the video the door caused sound to increase. Would/could other triggers be tied to wind noise such as window vents that might be tied to somthing different than the door command?...such as opening the window vent on a typical GA craft?

A suggestion if you guys haven't tried it. The headphones option in the last few Accusim birds is a great touch. Maybe on your slider window or via some key command you put on headphones and your set accutouch sounds are muffled by a set percentage except ATC/Multiplayer Voice volumes.

Anyway thanks for the awesome stuff you guys do.

Nice!
I understand this is a sound module only, or it has some kind of "engine feel" from Accu-Sim?
Anyway an instant purchase.

This is innovative and original and everyone will jump on it. An add-on that works on all aircraft has universal appeal.

One question though. Is it compatible with EZDOK?

Cheers,

Noel.
