What happened to the rest of the takeoff checklist? Positive rate? Gear up? Flaps up and trimmed?

They don't have those on sleighs. Besides, the reindeer obviously don't have retractable gear.

Sleighs don't have co-pilots either, but someone obviously put one there. As for reindeer not having retractable gear, they can pull their legs up like a bird and reduce drag.

Santas reindeer have an "Experimental Rating" much like some self build light aircraft. Flight Management is handled by Honeywell.

He also has a Short Field package installed for rooftop landings. This was developed as a 1 off design from Boeing.

Santa's sleigh was made by Convair during the 1950's, it took design cues from the B-58 Hustler and F-106 Delta Dart for the best speed and agility, as well as low-altitude speed like the B-58 had. Oh, btw, I thought it was the MD-80's tail that fell off, not the 737.
