Those of you who know me pretty well know that I tend to memorize movies. One of my dear favorites is of course The Right Stuff.

I just learned that Levon Helm who played Jack Ridley passed away...

I don't have too many movies on DVD but I did buy that particular movie.
Loved it as it took me back to my very very young childhood watching the early NASA Mercury missions.The 1960's were magic to me but I suppose every child's decade is magic. I didn't exist when Yeager broke the sound barrier though.Of course the earlier V-2 Rocket broke several sound barriers before then .I think somewhere around Mach 3.5 or so.
