I hope this is the correct section for this question, was just wondering if A2A was working on or considering development of a Cirrus SR22 plane simulator for FSX Steam?

Thanks

It's possible we could see an A2A SR-22 someday, yes.

Scott.

Please, please, with the manual RPM-control. I can't fathom that Cirruses come without that. Cruising at 2400 rpm seems crazy. :P

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!

That was a very interesting response from Mr Gentile. My spider sense is tingling

If you do a Accusim SR22 I will buy it and fly it all the time and hanger all other aircraft

So would I but I'm hoping for a twin, we've had quite a few single-engines now. I'd love to fly the A2A Aerostar.

No feelings whatsoever towards SR22 as an airframe, for or against. Of course I've seen them (and heard them!) a lot, but I can't recall even if I've ever touched one in person - certainly not flown onboard one.

To collect opinions, I see it is a popular and powerful fixed-gear airplane, apparently pretty popular as a training aircraft, in particular with glass. And it is quite fast in comparison to the older generation fixed-leg things. Somewhat equivalent to a modern view of Cherokee 235 - trading a bit of load carrying capability to a lot of speed. A touring airplane of sorts. I'd like it in the sim. :)

Can't say an SR22 excites me that much. I'm more interested in a range GA twins, then a jet such as a Lockheed P-80 or Meteor. I's also like to see a couple of twin engine warbirds too.

Cheers,
Mike
