Recently (yesterday) I was reminded why I have been just sucked in by A2A, For real A2A has LITERALLY WON ME WHILST I WAS TRYING TO ESCAPE!!! lol
I was browsing through the Facebook Page and came up on a Quality Wings Post Mocking a costumer because of "nitpicking" which I get that every developer has had to deal with but the way they did it was completely unprofessional. so I shot off a letter to them just saying that I believed the Picture and the Mocking was completely unappropriate, My email is at the bottom and the response at the top, (Continued Below Email)...

We respect your feelings.
Perhaps one day, you might respect ours.

Best regards,
Corey

If your name is going to be QUALITY then please be professional and handle yourselves with QUALITY, I assure you We are not children, nor are we adults that spend 47.99 on a whim and we do not appreciate being mocked in front of a Community. I would say take a Hint and visit A2A to learn about Community and customer service. Very unprofessional in my Opinion.

.... This is one more reason to Love A2A, Scott has a great touch with the Community of A2A I am not sure if there are MORE that communicate with us But I have only had GREAT communication with A2A and Great Respect By A2A. This is one more reason A2A is the best company out there, Not just in Products but in Quality, A2A can REALLY hang that Word on their Company! QUALITY!

Keep Going A2A you're the Best!

P.S. In no way is my intention to insult anyone that was associated with this incident or that is associated with Quality Wings and I am SURE it does not necessarily reflect the opinions of A2A. just saying

P.P.S. as Mater would say, Maybe they didn't like the bit about A2A being better :) !

This is 'Egg-Zackly' the typical support responses I have receieved through the years..not all...but many are condescending and assume I have no knowledge (even with 2 university degrees) and a former avionics tech with King Radio in the 70's I am astounded how they stay in business treating customers this way. Some developers seemingly spend more time 'marshalling ' thier forum members and being 'classroom monitors' than developing software. Thier choice..but I submit if you have a quality product -and- treat folks with respect you'll gain new customers and retain existing ones.

The right way to treat people is with R E S P E C T . (Aretha says it best!) Scott and other staff here are simply being considerate and polite and the admins here I have seen posting are patient and willing to work with folks step-by-step. I have to say concerning being 'sucked in' the P-51D w/AccuSim has certainly done that with me. I fly it everywhere (except the bush) and it is a smooth cruiser..300 knots cruise is a beautiful thing. That Merlin V12 really does sing to me!! :)

Out of all the companies I've made purchases through, only A2A, Classics-Hangar, Baytower Simulations, and Flight1 have delivered the customer service I expect.

Those are great ones, I agree, and would add RealAir to that list, speaking for myself, of course.

I know what you are talking about. First aircraft I bought was the 47 then after that not just the aircraft caught my attention but the community and not just that but how the community respected each other and then NOT JUST THAT lol but also that the developers were into what the community was talking about! awesome in my opinion!

I left RealAir out by total mistake. They've been awesome as well. Good catch.

We are very fortunate to be a part of such a community that is really supportive and as enthusiastic as we are about this hobby. I have had great experiences with everyone mentioned above. Mathias of CH, Danny of BTS, Rob and Sean of RA, Bill of LH, Paul and Gil of GAS, Mike of Lotussim, the FTX guys, and of course the great A2A crew are all folks I have had the pleasure of talking to, wether a tech support question or just BSing about flying. Great people producing great things for this hobby :)

Cheers
TJ

Just to set the Record straight, Me and Quality WIngs exchanged SEVERAL AMICABLE letters explaining each ones point of view. After several exchanges we found out that several misunderstandings and several mistakes on Quality Wings part had been made and were corrected.
It ended up Getting Fixed.

But A2A is still the best I am really Amazed how good A2A is! and its even greater to see them start their sister company! I will certainly be a part of that when its available!

I think the one thing for me about A2A that really does stand out tho, it is the one dev, where no matter what the project is, no matter what the plane type is...it is an automatic buy. Even planes I am not very thrilled about. The others make great projects too but I pick and choose alot more. If A2A accusimmed a paper airplane...buy.

For example, I have never been thrilled about the Cessna 208 Caravan, somthing about it has scared me a little as a pilot. A very heavy airplane with lots of drag, powered by one engine. The 208 has been involved in a few accidents, involving CG shifts...it flat spins easily. I have had to refuel it too...hated it...the fuel cap is waaaaay up there over the wing. Can't imagine refueling it in Alaska on an icy slippery ladder and a heavy Jet A hose. Anyway, if A2A came along and said...hey we are going to accusim a 208 Caravan. I would buy it immediately when finished. The Accusim process just brings so much unique experiences to everyone, no matter your real experience level. It would open my eyes and let me experience the plane...might even change my mind about it :) An accusimmed PT-6A would be worth it alone.

Cheers
TJ
