Hello Scott,

Now FSX is there, I, and no doubt many others, would like to install not only the Doras but the other Shockwave standalone planes as well, in FSX. But I would like to keep them in FS9 also, at least for the time being. Is there a possibility for this? I understand that any new install would require that I de-install the FS9 planes. Is it perhaps possible for Shockwave to make a small program that checks whether my install of a particular plane is legal, and then automatically copies the relevant files to the right places FSX? Or is there a tutorial available to do this myself? Or will you perhaps release FSX updates for the planes? They no doubt will be around for years to come!

Many thanks,

Stickshaker

Stickshaker,

We'll be working on a simple solution this week.

Scott.

Is it like most of the other programs.

Can you transfers; copy and paste the aircraft ( all of the FW190's), panel and gauges files into the FSX program.

You will need the fS9 to install a fresh plane.

If you have the separate files, aircraft, gauge and panel you then can paste then into the FSX game.

I'll also be waiting for the fix, since I don't know which gauges, sounds and effects are linked to the WoP planes, and copying all potentially relevant files to FSX costs a lot of computer space. Scott, I appreciate the efforts you are making now and will be eagerly awaiting the result.
I do not know whether it is possible, but could the conversion programme be made so that the raindrops you get on your canopy in FS9 are preserved in FSX? In the generic FSX planes there is ample rain but no rainrdops on your canopy. And I have not yet been able to get them to work, even in FS9 planes, in FSX, despite some useful suggestions on the Sim-Outhouse FSX forum.
On an off-topic note: I could not yet in the online shop find the possibility to order the new combined WoP-Firepower package (I forgot the name; the one with the CFS3 Mustang). When will it be available for ordering? I am sure many people will be waiting to order.

OK

I just loaded FSX and tried the FW190's and other WOP planes.

I found out that the P-51 normal work, but the P-51 Tank there is a conflict.

FW190A's all seem to work and the VC is good. No problems so far.

As for the Dora, it is not as good.

I get an error when loading; Bendix_King.ADF.model A can not be used, too early a version.

The VC is PORKED
No panel, it is all black, only some gauges, but it does fly and textures are good.

I do not know why the A series VC works and the Dora does not.

We will have to wait for Shockwave to see what they can do.

So it is off to fly the FW1990A-8

Here are the files to move:

AIRCRAFT to SIM OBJECTS / AIRPLANES
GAUGES to GAUGES (wop_fw190D)
TEXTURE to TEXTURE (all FW190, Ta152, and Wop_prop)
EFFECTS to EFFECTS (all WOP)

I have tried most things to get the Dora to work.

My latest is I have a stock version of FS9 on a old computer. I loaded the FW190D-9 to this computer. I then took Dora files from effects, textures and gauges. and put them in the install that I am having trouble with.

Well, the VC is still the same and I get the same errors.

This is funny because the FW190A series works.

We need your help!

Hi. You miss the cockpit textures. They are in the main FS9 texture folder (FS9\Texture).

fw190_c0.bmp
fw190_c1.bmp
fw190_c2.bmp
fw190_c3.bmp
fw190_c4.bmp

Copy them to the local aircraft texture folders in FSX

Missing gauges:

gauge00=wop_fw190d!Attitude, 207,-1,99,99

PANEL.CFG - change nagative values to positive or zero(?)

regards
ROB

ROB

I have the 6) fw190_c.bmp files

From the gauge 's I have the fw190a.gau and the zipped wop_fw190d

I changed the "gauge00=wop_fw190d!Attitude, 207,-1,99,99

in the panel config from a -1 to 1?

Does the "Bendix_King.ADF.model A can not be used, too early a version". have anything to do with the problem?
I also get this error "Bendix_King.HSI is no longer supported"
Can these be changed to a supported gauge?

I was asked to verify that jwb_xml_server.GAU

Is this part of the Dora?
