Fw 190 D9 Black 4

Post by TonyG »

Many thanks to ICDP for the template!

This early production, Focke Wulf built, Fw 190D9 W.Nr 210056 of 10./JG54 was flown by Uffz. Werner Rupp on his second operational sortie on 29 December 1944. He was shot down by 2 Typhoons of 168 RAF/439 RCAF sqn.

The aircraft was camouflaged in a fairly standard early production scheme consisting of RLM 75/83/76 with a mottling of RLM 83 on the fuselage rear and fin.
