Interesting discussion. But, how I read this is that clicking on yellow items achieves this very function already, and the difference in upcoming hangar system being just that you need to click an inspection to see the labels.

Note that vast majority of airplane's parts and components are repaired/replaced on condition. So in reality it works the same way: when the mechanic notices that something is not as it is supposed to be, he may label it "yellow" (well...not quite but to give an idea) or fix it right away, depending. There is not that much of preemptive replacements going on.

As they are "on condition", finding these items "yellow" is the reason why a piston GA is supposed to have a minor inspection each 50 hours typically, while getting the oil changed as well.

In my A2A experience, pretty long, though perhaps sometimes less than that 50 hours TIS in general for consumables. But randomly, such things seem to pop out every now and then.

Desiring to see new pics? Nope not me...

However, I’m dying to see new pics. But that’s a different proposition altogether. ;-)

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!

oh ok. well I don't have to worry about that then. 2 of my planes only have 3 hours so far and 1 has 11.6 hours on it

I was recently in court as moral support for one of my friends (falsely) accused of stealing 10 rolls of toilet paper.
I asked him how he was going to plead ...quilty or not quilty.......
