Wings of Power P-47D-22-RE "Margie" #C2-Z, 42-75178, flown by Lt Gerald Grace, 396th FS, 368th FG, 9th AF, Chilbolton, England, 1944.Gerald Grace flew 92 combat missions and shot down one Fw190.You can hear his account of how he got his Fw190 if you visit www.368thfightergroup.com which has a recording of an Armed Forces Radio interview with Lt Grace conducted during the war.
