Multiplayer and P-47/ MAJOR FRAME RATE ISSUE

Post by ryfly777 »

So i was flying with 3 buddies of mine with the P-47. When we first load up i was getting 1 frame rate and it seemed like my flight sim was frozen. I had to go into Global Settings and set aircraft to Low. Out of multiplayer, the p-47 works great but in multiplayer just terrible. Please fix this. The P-51 works great in multiplayer but the p-47 doesn't.

ryfly777,

I never heard of behaviour like that before.
Does it get any better if you set your maximum FPS to 20?
If I remember well this is in the Settings, Display, Hardware menu.
I cannot check this right now, I'm away from home.

It seems that in multiplayer mode, FS9 sends your aircraft data over the net at the your FPS rate.

You can change your texture from 32 bit to DXT3 format it helps a lot with FPS.
