Get em both GT ... I got em.

Oddly enough I find myself flying ... of all things ... the B-24 more.

If you don't get all of WOP planes, you are really missing out. :D

I've only got so much I can spend. Tracker 3Pro comes first. One of the fighters second. Not sure if I can get the other right now. As soon as the snow flies up here and I get the snowblower put to work I'll be all set.

I'd like to wait on the 47 just in case there's a clean version coming out. Drop tanks would be ok, but I'm not crazy about the bomb and rockets. Especially if they don't go BOOM. LOL

Me too I'm afraid. It's hard enough to pretend I'm flying an aircraft in the real world without feeling a bit embarrassed landing at a small regional airport with enough ordnance to flatten it. The other pilots give me funny looks.
Please can we have the option of a clean version?

It needs exercise... It's kinda logy.

Surprisingly enough it flies like a bomber!... Except when you do a power on stall. It gets kinda squirrily then due to the torque snapping you on your ear.

But it climbs like a rocket... proving the old adage...

"You can fly a barn door if you have enough power! :)"

Ok, for those of you with both the P-51 and P-47, which do you prefer? That'll help me make up my mind on which to get.

In terms of agility then I would recommend the P-51. I also think it has better start up sounds. It only comes with two versions though.
The P-47 is a heavier aircraft in how it performs of course, but I think I like it a bit more. It's engine souds are better and different from the P-51, at least when your just flying around. Nice throbbing sound. With the P-47, you can hear that it has a big engine. :D It's start up isn't as good as the P-51, I really like how the P-51 gives a couple coughs, then roars to life.
In the end I would go with the P-47. Though I don't know for sure, I bet most of the differences I mentioned where also true with the real aircraft. So it depends on which one you think was bettter in RL. It's just that the P-47 is the most recent SW release, so it has more features :) .

Hope this helps,
redrooster.
