Drop Tank question

Post by WarHorse47 »

Hi, Scott.

Great job on the P-47.

In the manual it indicates that Shift-D releases the drop tanks. I can relase the bombs, but not the tanks. Am I overlooking something?

I have the same problem. I can release the tanks from the cockpit but not the keyboard.

BTW, I'm the new guy here. Nice to meet you Scott. Real name's Richard Nordli and I'd like to say your P47 is one awesome machine. Love it.

I had the same problem at first. Shift-D should be mapped to "Release all drop tanks" under General Aircraft Commands.

Thanks. I'll try that too. I've just been pulling the handles in the VC. (I can't remember what a 2d cockpit looks like. :P) but you can't watch the tanks fall from the exterior that way.

Ya, I'm haveing the same problem. Shift W is fine but Shift D doesn't release the drop tanks. I'd like to watch them drop way also. I'm sure shockwave will fix the problem! Semper Fi, MudMarine

Find, assign and use following commands from key mapping:
Water Rudder - for bombs (I suggest Shift+W)
Release all drop tanks - for tanks (I suggest Shift+D)
