Suggested addon ? Please ??

Post by Jib01 »

I notice when flying the jug that the turbo light is flashing which is indicating there is something wrong. You can not lower the turbocharger to get rid of the light. Is this a known problem or READ THE MANUAL ?

READ THE MANUAL !!!

I know this is going to be asked at some point but I'll ask it anyway.

We can drop the bombs and tank. How about some effects for shooting rockets and guns. Just as an addon later.

Thanks

if the turbo light is flashing it is right. If the light is steady on there is a problem.

Jib,

See my post "Turbo and Turbo Overspeed Light." As 46th terror says, if the light STAYS on, that means something is wrong. You want to fly with the light blinking.

Jib01, do you happen to have a schedule for Sentimental Journey for next summer, or know a link to one for her?

I did some searching but all I could find was 2005 schedules. It could be that they haven't put the 2006 schedule out yet. Sorry I couldn't help.

The schedule doesn't get put out officially until around April. With all the competition out there we need to keep it hush, hush as long as we can. The summer trips are one of our biggest money makers.

It doesn't work exactly the same as the real plane, but actually the light will in fact remain unlit (off) at a slow idle when the plane is motionless on the runway. As soon as you throttle up a bit, though, the light will start flashing. It will go on if the turbine overspeeds, which can indeed happen in FS9 if you exceed the maximum throttle setting above critical altitude.

Mostly, though, it's just some cool eye candy, but the function is tied to the turbo so it's not far from what the real thing did.
