What's really funny is that my father-in-law was also a gunner on the "D". His Aircraft Commander was our WST supervisor(Weapon System Trainer...fancy term for the sim!) at Wurtsmith AFB. SAC crewdogs live in a VERY small world!

DUTCH506.....The Marine Corps doesn't need the airforce! The airforce could learn a few things about close airsupport from the Corps. We have our own airwing, thanks for the offer. Is the airforce a branch of the military? Up in the air junior birdmen.....just in fun, the airforce has some really nice planes. Semper Fi, MudMarine

OK...just because you guys put bayonets on your pitot tubes, I'll concede the CAS issue.

However...no Marine flyer has ever destroyed one city with one bomb...we've done it twice!

Keep the inter-service harassment coming! It's all in the family! Besides, maybe Scott will think we've all popped our corks and release the Jug just to calm us down!

OK...I can hope, can't I?

Try "Peace is our Profession!"

I was in Heavy and Very Heavy Bombers before there was a SAC and I spent my whole career in SAC.

When I get that Jug, I'm gonna have to learn to fly something with only one engine that rarely flys straight and level for more than a few seconds!

Incidently, how do we bail out of WOP planes , SCOTT???? ... I've got a feeling I'm gonna be COLD MEAT until I learn to Zig and Zag!
