My uncle flew the Razorback D model during the war. His plane went down in Italy after being shot up over Ploesti. Landed in an artichoke field and nosed her over. He survived to tell the tale. I can't remember the squadron, but it had a black and yellow checkered cowl and vertical stabalizer.
