Announcing The Wings of Power P47 Thunderbolt

Post by Scott - A2A »

Wings of Power P47 Thunderbolt

The all-new Wings of Power P47 Thunderbolt represents the next generation in aircraft design. This aircraft take full advantage of the FS2004 engine and takes Absolute Realism to a new level. This aircraft looks, functions, and flies exactly like the real P47.

There are many exciting features those who strive for the most realistic flying experience will certainly appreciate. We will announce these features in the coming weeks and detail what they are all about.

Like all Wings of Power aircraft, this can be flown by the book.

Download and watch the movie. What you will hears are the sounds from a freshly recorded P47 equipped with the turbocharged R2800 Pratt & Whitney engine. Get ready for this aircraft.

Scott.

Congratulations, Shockwave team, and that you may have many more surprises of this kind in the future.

Here's my two cents worth:

I estimate Shockwave will not do a Spit.
It's already been done by too many and some of them are very hard to beat.
(My favorite is the RealAir Mk XIV)

My expectation is that they will come up with some other - totaly unexpected but awsome - surprise the way they did with the FW190.

What do you say, Scott?
(He will say nothing, but I guess they're working on it right now...)

No question that it's amazing! The screen shots of the cockpit are incredible I can't wait to flip the switches! Just watching the clip of the jug flying got my heart rate up! Being able to drop the tanks is an excellent idea also. Now if only the guns would fire......just a wish. I hope to be the first in line to download it. Truely a dream com true, THANKS! Can't wait to see more screens Scott. The Hi-res ones really have great detail all around, but what I noticed the most was how well the nuts, screws, and bolts were done. Also the engine itself is very detailed(as are the US heavy bomber ones). If possible more pics of the N and XP72 would be greatly apreciatted. The P47D-25 HV-A has a really cool skin, it almost reminds me of some MiG-17 skins I have seen  . Just remove the US markings and stripes, replace them with the Soviet star and it might look like a Soviet fighter. Especially with that big red nose

Can't wait to see more, keep up the great work,

The HV-A skin looks like that of Gabby Gabreski's plane...
