BoB 2.13 and DirectX 11

BoB 2.13 and DirectX 11

I read the installation manual for 2.13. It says that it only runs with DirectX 9. Currently I have BoB 2.12 running fine with DirectX 11. Must I downgrade to DirectX 9?

I run the game on Vista 32 on a offline PC.

Howzit Boompus,

I don't think It's a question of downgrading to directx 9. I'm pretty sure you have directx 9 ,10 and 11 on your PC. As far as I know BOB 2.12 uses dx9 not dx11, as does 2.13. It's a pre dx10 and dx11 game. You should also easily be able to run it at higher widescreen resolutions unless your monitor is a 4:3 monitor. I'm sure if anybody here has other suggestions they will pitch in and help.

Hello rogeroger

I totally forgot that the older versions are still there :oops: I was confused because dxdiag showed DirectX 11 and the original BoB CD says 'DirectX 9 or later'... Any way..v2.13 runs OK :D
