The forcefeedback on my Microsoft Sidewinder joystick does not appear to be working in campaign mode - and campaign mode only. It works on the Instant Action mode.
Does anyone have any kind suggestions as to what might be causing that and how I might fix it? Certainly it used to work.
Many thanks for any help

Apologies - it seems to vary - now the force feedback isnt working in any scenario. It certainly used to.

I assume you've checked your basic FF function with
the windows control panel, and confirmed the settings
in the BoB2 options>controls screen...

Thank you for responding
I've checked the setting within windows and the force feedback works there.
I've also clicked the force feedback thing on the controls in the Options set up.
I've also reinstalled the joystick drivers - no win so far

Re: Force Feedback on Microsoft Sidewinder joystick
That's certainly a puzzle. ...If you go into the
Custom controller screen, you should have four
boxes on the bottom of the menu screen with
on/off settings, and a check box for overall
enabling. There are pix in the manual, Controls
section, to illustrate. I suppose it might be
possible the individual FF sections could have
been turned off.
Otherwise, I know it's a pain, but all I can suggest
is to do a full uninstall and reinstall (hope you've kept
a copy of the patch so you don't have to re-download).
It should be working, so I don't know where it could
have gotten confused, but a reinstall should wake
it up.
