one question:

when i installed the patch i had to make some choices ... i remember i had to select "realism" or "hollywood"

i selected realism but just to understand, what are the differences ? colors palette or what else ?

Those choices are for machine gun tracers.
Realism has the tracers "toned" down, and Hollywood has them exaggerated. Brighter and longer trails I think.

Didn't the hollywood make explosions bigger and
more colourful as well? I have some memory of
that being mentioned. I passed on it, anyway.

mmhh ... if it's for brighter tracers it could be useful for novice (better see where you shoot), but not useful if they are "longer" too ... is there a way to be sure if it is only "display/colors" or not ?

anyway, is that an option we can enable/disable in the game (or conf.ini ...) or to see it i need a clean fresh installation ?
