No cockpit in higher than 640x480 resolution

Post by daHeld »

Hi,

after a reinstall and patch to 2.12 on my new computer (AMD FX-8320 8-core, 16GB RAM, ATI 7870, NEC Monitor@1920x1200) I can't play in another resolution than 640x480.
When I try any other screen resolution, I only see a black screen instead of the mission loading screen and then I see no cockpit, but only the gauges and the propeller blades. Thus it is unplayable. Can this be fixed?

All the best
Andy

Ok, I'm running Win 7 Pro x64. But nonetheless, I tried the "Vista Fix", setting the compatibility and running as Admin, and it works! :D

Those bombers always shoot me down, though...

The best plan for attacking bomber formations is to pick your approach angle.

Typically bomber formations can bring a lot of guns to bear when you attack from behind.

The best strategy I've found is to attack from the sides.
