BOB2 and Windows 8.1

Hi there, I've had some success in getting BOB2 to run using compatibility mode, but I have run into a problem, mainly that I get stuck at the combat report page after ending a mission and cannot figure out how to get back to the main screen. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on?
