Saitek users?

Post by javelina »

Hello Group,

I've got a clean install of the latest BobII, as per the install instructions. My TrackIR5 is working great in the game as well.

Just wondering if anyone out there has a good Saitek X52 profile I could get a copy of? I also have the Saitek Combat Rudders, and hope to get those functioning properly too. (Been flying a lot with the BMS Falcon, and was coming back to BobII to try out some WWII action). :-)

I'm using the X52, without a profile. The trigger fires the guns, and I have the pitch, yaw, roll. But my throttle goes all the way to full, and my X52 throttle joystick does absolutely nothing. Of course, same with the rudder pedals and toe brakes... Nothing...

But I expect this, and was hoping another has a great profile to share. :-)

kind regards,

-Jav

I am reading through this, and it's helping with the throttle control.

Able to get the rudder to work as well.

the only issue now, is that I have to give a lot of right aileron to keep it level. otherwise, the aircraft wants to roll & turn left.... puzzling.

If this is the Me109, which is hard to keep level, and comes stock with no yaw or aileron trim, then I cheat and give it user adjustable yaw trim.

In the models folder, go to the Bf109E4 .ACM file and give it some adjustable rudder trim, like this.

Trim { 9175 0 4096 } # elevator aileron rudder

I use the Throttle slider for yaw trim on all aircraft.

appreciate the help, and info. I'll go make the edit.
