Re: BOB English text has stopped working message

The crashes are not the same; any crash at all associated
with BoB2 uses the program identifier "BoB2 English Text".
What identifies a specific crash are the modules and addresses
specified in the crashlog.txt file found in the BoB2 root.
The crashlog entries are appended to the bottom of the file,
and the relevant parts are right at the beginning of the
log entry, for instance:

------------ Begin of section written with bob.exe, Build/Rebuild all date: Dec 21 2012 17:39:32 ---------------------------
Bob.exe caused a EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKNOWN> at 0023:53FF8B90
Exception handler called in drawloop.

This is a typical entry which is due to something in the
computer configuration rather than the program itself,
as it says module <UNKNOWN>. We very rarely have
crashes with a named module, which would indicate a
problem in the program code. Mostly it is things failing
in windows. One of the examples discussed earlier in this
thread looks to be caused by running patch v2.12 with a
32 bit machine and only 2GB of RAM, which is inadequate
for 2.12 with anywhere near full eye candy.
