Hello there,
I am new to the forum. I have been playing BOB some 7 years ago and puchased Bob2 recently. My new computer has an onboard videoboard. Could someone recommend a good board (around 300 euro) to use in my pc. The graphics are very bad, I can't read the text en the planes are dots and only visible when very near.
PC:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 8,0 5,7
RAM 16,0 GB
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
SSD 250GB
Best regards,
Harrie

Re: Bad graphics
Ah, you have a pretty good cpu, and lots of RAM, so I
would look at a card on this list as close to the top as
your funds are consistent with:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gam ... 107-7.html
The little pulldown menu at the top currently labelled
"7. Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart", when opened,
sorts some currently available cards recommended
by the site, by price in US$ (actually, it occurs to
me if the site is smart enough it might show Euros if
it detects a european IP address). Apparently 300 euro
is $390US today, so you'll find their recommendations
in your price range in sections 4 and 5.
Beyond that, it is hard to make any recommendation
as cards change far faster than I can keep up with.
I just rely on sites like Tom's.
