Help with Simped Rudder not detected

Post by walternowi »

I just switched from a set of CH Products Pro Pedals to a set of Simped Vario Pro USB pedals, but the Simped was not detected when I try to configure it within BoB II.

The Simped pedals are listed in the USB game controllers under Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit:

Under the Controls option tab, Custom assignment:

With Rudder selected, nothing happened when I tried moving the Simped pedals. I moved the XBox controller axis and this was picked up right away.

I can assign the Simped pedals to controlling the rudder in my other flight sim titles such as Rise of Flight, Cliffs of Dover and IL-2 1946.

Here are the things I have tried but without any success:
1. Plugging the Simped to another USB port (one on the motherboard)
2. Update DirectX 9.0c

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also use the Simped rudder pedals, but the F-16 version and that plugs directly into my Hotas Gougar. I do find some times, that to detect a control position. I will need to try several times before it is detected.
