Login not working?

Post by whizkid »

How come every time I enter the Forum I have to Log in, even though I checked the box to keep me always Logged in? Has this feature been discontinued or am I not doing the right thing?

Works for me without issue. I am not sure how a problem could exist un less you for get to check the box or you clean out all the web cookies.

Are you saying I should clean out all my Cookies in Internet Options? I always check the Login box.

I always have to log in, too. It is just 2 button clicks, though.

True, but its annoying when you're already in the Forum trying to post something and can't.

Do you have your web browser set to allow cookies? Some people turn this off as they feel it is a potential invasion of privacy.

I have cookies turned off by default, but set exceptions for all the
sites where I need to log in, and have my read/unread positions
saved. I believe if you don't have cookies enabled for the site,
you lose that information, so that's a quick way to tell.

Antivirus software likes to eat my cookies all the time. I bet its removing your cookies. You could try adding exceptions in your antivirus software.

Checked A/V and no problems. Cookies enabled in all cases in various places. Oh, well, I'll live with it.
On to another problem. When I arrive in the cockpit of my Spit in Take-Off training, when the canopy closes the game disables TIR! I've checked everywhere and all boxes are checked that should be, or unchecked, and TIR w/vector was started before I went into the game. Anybody?

Check that you are not alternating between shockwaveproductions.com and a2asimulations.com. Get rid of any links or shortcuts to shockwaveproductions.com

The only mention of Shockwave is in the box at the top of this Forum. Shouldn't that be there? Maybe I should re-install the Forum address?

Bless you, my son!
Yes, that was exactly the problem. Just to test I've been bouncing in and out of the Forum, and I'm still Logged in! What a relief!
OK, your next Mission, should you decide to accept, is to fix my bloody TIR in BoB2! See the above posts for details. Seriously, Scott, thanks a million for the help.

NOTE, Scott is accepting all cries for help............I think!
