Can I pick the commands under radio and map by keyboard? Currently, the exit commands are colored red and I can hit the 0 key and exit, but I can only change the radio and map commands using the mouse. Is there any way to do this using the keyboard? ex. type 5 for tower in radio commands.

The map commands definitely work with the keyboard, I can't remember
about the radio commands, but I believe they do too. You must use the
main keyboard numbers, though - the numpad numbers are mapped differently,
and I don't think they were included for this function.

Thanks for your reply PV, but I can only pick items in the map menu and the radio menu with the mouse. I tried using the normal number keys, not the number pad keys, but still can't pick the menu items. I can only pick using the mouse and left click. I have remapped some keys, for the FK items, but I have not used the normal number keys.

Radio commands only work with the normal keys. Numpad numbers do not work.

Well, I'm baffled ...although, it is possible that if you have remapped your main keyboard number
keys, that they then won't respond properly on the map screen (it shouldn't make a difference
though. They should work the same in the map screen regardless of how they're mapped
outside it, I would have thought.) Well, you can check by looking in your \keyboard\keys.txt
file, which has default values for the num keys in the lines
RPM_00 11
RPM_10 2
RPM_20 3
RPM_30 4
RPM_40 5
RPM_50 6
RPM_60 7
RPM_70 8
RPM_80 9
RPM_90 10

I believe those are correct; I don't recall ever remapping any of these.

I got my problem fixed. I had cleared the key commands from all of the RPM functions ( except for 0...this activates the 100% throttle or wep ), planning on using them for something else. I had thought that when in map or radio mode it wouldn't matter if these number keys were remapped...but when I restored the number keys for the RPM functions, the keyboard commands for the map and radio now work. Edit: Thanks PV and Stickman!

Well, I guess it makes sense in that it is the simplest way to do it, but
I would have thought they would have decoupled the map key functions
from the cockpit key functions, precisely because the cockpit keys are
remappable, while the map key assignments ought to remain universal.
Oh, well...
