Hello

I just reintalled Bob2 WOV afer a bit of a hiatus from the sim. I patched it according to the instructions for 2.11. All seems to work well thus far, although I haven't manage to put that many hours into into it yet.

I do have a minor problem with the sounds when in flyby view. The sounds are truly amazing I have to say so the fact that when in flyby view the engines are sometimes not audible, sometimes it is, even if it fy's right past the camera. It is if something is interupting the sound. When it does play it abrubly halts. I am not sure if this is just a limitation but I was hoping for a more smoother transition when the plane gets out of range for example.

Are there particular settings I need to tweak for sounds to play correctly or is this just an engine limitation.

Any help would be much appreciated.
G

Hi and welcome back to BOBII and the BOBII forums and community.

Are you talking about a Spit or Hurri cutting out because of neg G?

Just as a test try a 109 and try a chase view (F9 default key) tosee if it cuts out for you.

I do not have a cut out problem in chase view here.

Many thanks for the welcome and response Buddye. It is not only the Spit and it is not the negative G engine cutout. I am wondering, is there a vid that someone can post of a flyby so I can see "listen" what it should sound like?

Many thanks,
G
