I'm having some graphical issues with BOB2. I've recently reinstalled it on my duel monitor Windows 7 system. but I'm having resolution issues - basically the screen is offsetting on my primary monitor so as to make 1/3 of the screen unviewable. I've tried a number of resolution settings, but it keeps happening, sometimes on starting the program, but mainly when entering sorties.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't have any immediate ideas, but I imagine that for any useful help,
we'll need to know the type of video card and driver version, and the type
and resolution of your monitors.

(...I have an odd thing going on with one of my setups, due to the
combination of the old LCD main monitor I'm using, and the old driver version
I have to use for the video card. The monitor has a 1280x1024 native
resolution, while my second monitor, though also LCD, is recognized as
an analog monitor with a wide range of possible resolutions. If I set the
nVidia driver config for the "analog" monitor as main (#1), and the LCD as
#2, I have no problem, and both monitors work, in clone mode; but if I
reverse the config so the LCD is assigned as #1, I can't run BoB2 because
the LCD monitor announces that it doesn't know how to render the BoB2
1024x768 opening screen, and wants to be fed 1280x1024. Yes, even though
when I set it as the #2 monitor, it happily accepts the 1024x768 screen
being fed to it as a clone of the other monitor. Just devices being stupid,
due to some sort of error in the firmware.)

Check your DPI.

Also BOBII requires a screen print size of 96 DPI. If you have change your DPI to a higher number (example 120 DPI or medium) then BOBII will crash to disk on a Menu Screen. To change your DPI to 96 in windows7 in desktop right click. Select screen Resolution and at the bottom click on "Make Text or Other Items larger or smaller". Then select smaller 100% (default).

Also give us your DxDiag. Below are the instructions if needed:

DXDIAG Instructions

We now have 1000's of customers flying BobII 2.07 without major issues. Sorry about your problem.

When customers have your problem it usually a hardware problem, virus software issue, or a bad install. Virus software (we have issues with Norton and Bit Defender) also can prevent BoBII from loading.

Please post your PC spec's with a DXDIAG so we can review you computer and check a few things:

Here's how to create a DXDIAG:

DX Diag is a utility/report that dumps technical info to a text file. The file is fairly lengthy, and is divided into sections for easy management. The detail in this file may help us discover 'related issues' leading to the solution of problems users are having.

*Click on your "Start" button.
*Select "Run".
*Clear the "Open" box and type "dxdiag" (without the quotes).
*Click "OK".
*A box called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should open.
*At the bottom of this window, you will find a button called "Save All Information".
*Click this button.
*A box will pop up prompting you to save a file called "dxdiag.txt"
*Save this file to your "Desktop".
*Now you should see a text file called "dxdiag.txt" sitting on your Windows desktop.
*That's it!! Now we will have the info necessary to help you efficiently

Just cut and paste it into this thread and yes it is large.
