Hello,
I am new to the forum, call sign Poopsy. Firstly thanks for all the tips etc on the forum for tweeking game & the 2.11 multiskins are superb :!:

I have a quick query about a problem I am having in first part of campaign "Convoy"

Once I get past 12th of July, the end of day report keeps looping back to the 12th of July and giving the same number of kills. The time and date window in 2D screen map is correct now on 15th July and in the individual squad diaries.

I am running the version 2.11 int with multiskin over the top. Other than the usual app crashes after prolonged use :? the sim is wonderful : I am running Vista home 32 bit. Graphics card is nvidia 8500gt with latest driver, direct x is up to date, 2gb ram and plenty of disk space, intel core2duo cpu e6850 3 ghz,

This is a new install on the machine, but I also had same problem on my previous PC. Is this a known bug or have I done something silly?

Thanks in anticipation

Poopsy

Welcome to BOBII and the BOBII forums and community.

This is a new one for me and I am not a Campaign expert but you might try a restart of the Campaign as something seems to have got messed up on your savegame which is causing the looping report.

Perhaps some of the Campaign guys can offer some help as well.

To clarify - You are progressing day by day through the campaign but your daily report is sticking at a particular day?

I have had this happen for as long as I can remember, eventually it does bring itself up to date , it may do this several times throughout a campaign.
Sometimes I think that it is waiting for a bigger result to replace the existing report.

The problem fixed itself like you said! Finally! It took me until August 10th for the end of day report to update from July 30th but now it's working fine

This obnoxious End of Day Report fallacious Bull Scheise,
is still a problem that should be hunted down and killed!
Regretfully, the BDG has few coders (2 now, & both part time volunteers)
and this End of Day Report BS is not the worst thing in the Campaign.
So it's not likely that it will be fixed overnight.

Never the less.. this might be the 100th report of this evil criminal behavior,
and hopefully a BDG code "Regulator" type of guy, might one day,
find this spy that gives false reports, and put a bullet in his skull!

Well, during the holidays I got enough time to start a German campaign (and stick to it) from scratch and experienced the same issue. The End of Day Report stopped on July, 11th and started back on July, 15th, so my report is still missing July, 12th, 13th, and 14th, and interestingly enough the combined total kills of these days were added to the July, 15th (total) kills, therefore the report considers it a bad day for the RAF for losing 20 aircraft in "one" day!!

Cheers.
