For those who need a video Codec to see BOB2 Movies

Post by david1 »

Hi

Just in case anyone else has the same problem this might be helpful
When I first installed BOB2 on my XP Box it says I need an Indeo codec and gives a link to a download site, unfortunately a $15 dollar payware codec :-(

Trawling around a bit I found this alternative

http://www.free-codecs.com/Intel_Codec_ ... wnload.htm

It seems to work OK for me, but try it at your own risk

:D Thanks David, yep same problem, just installed it yesterday but skipped pass the error message. Went with the defaults except changing the res to 1024x768@100 and flew the quick take off. Managed to land her after a very bouncy landing, ended the mission and the PC restarted..lol.

So thanks again and hopefully this is one more tick on the to-do list. Right now where did I put Stickman's settings :)

If you get the movies you are OK, it pops up with an error thingy if not.
