Hi, int the Campaign on 20 July (Convoys attack) the game crashes when I hit alt-x after flying in the 3d sim.
The screen just goes black and I have to ctrl+alt+del and force quit BoB2.exe
What I discovered that during 20 july there was many raids. I saved before each encounter just before I was about to fly. But every time I alt-x the game crashed.
So I decided to just let the campaign run in 2d until the day was over and 21 July started.
On 21 July I could alt-x after 3d sim without any problems.

Maybe this can useful? I would love to get any help I can to enjoy this amazing sim more

Didn't seem to work for me, sadly. From getting Alt+X CTDs in instant action mission about a third of the time, trying the RAF campaign I get them in every mission so far, plus occasionally early in the mission.

So this is now how I'm planning to fly campaign missions: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/9275 ... ent=749896

Just to wind up this thread, I was sufficiently impressed by what I could manage in Win 10 to spend the cost of a new sim (with nicer visuals but a fraction of the content and historical accuracy) on a second small SSD and Win 7 so I could dual boot without having to partition the other small Win 10 SSD. After the usual fuss getting all working in a fresh O/S install, BoB2 is working fine with Win 7 (along with First Eagles 2 and Open Rails, so far).
