Thanks for throwing a bone out there in the middle of the chaos going on at A2A HQ. Figured the silence was a good thing.

Keep in mind, this video is designed not for 377 owners but for those who never flew the 377 or Captain of the ship. There is no point telling Stratocruiser pilots what this system is all about, so it's very basic in it's presentation.
The manual, btw, is amazing too. My hope is, we will have a video that tours the airplane ready next week. And btw, our flight attendant is looking better since that shot I showed earlier.
Scott.
Great news. I'm very much looking forward to this, having spent many enjoyable hours flying the CalClassics Connies. Regarding that picture of the cockpit, is that taken in a short bodied Connie, or the later stretched versions? I ask as the stretched Connies had a taller windscreen by about 7 inches, and that looks to me like an earlier Connie. Am I right?
Cheers,
Mike

IIRC, the source for cockpit modeling (and maybe other modeling, too) was N9412H, located at Greenwood Lake, NJ. More detail here. That would make it the earliest possible Connie, other than the prototype - a C-69 converted to L-049 status. Other possibility is N90831 at the Pima Air Museum, also a C-69 turned L-049. Both were mentioned in earlier posts, but I don't recall what source material each aircraft was used for. In any case, almost certainly a short-body version.

Oh WOW. Connie. Drool. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Just a quick query. Are you sure Scott
that the landing gear legs are the right length? She looks a bit squat, and the connie always had long legs. Might
just be the angle though, given the quality of A2A I'm pretty confident it's the angle.
Can't wait!

Thanks Alan. That being the case, I hope we see repaints of this plane in each of her liveries throughout her life.
With apolgies to Victor Borge, I'm looking fiveward to this!!

Sensible shoes.
All names are good choices, I voted for Mary, I would have liked
Florence as a choice in tribute to Florence Nightingale founder of modern day nursing.
Back in the very early days of commercial air travel all air hostess had to meet a set of very strict requirements including being a Registered Nurse.
Thank you A2A for asking us your customers our thoughts.

Possibly the most logical name, for sure, perhaps Conny ?Paul K wrote:What about this lady, named after the famous airliner, the Lockheed Francis:
