It will be out any day now. We've been collecting data on this aircraft for years and it has been wonderful seeing all this information come alive in 3D. Just starting it up and doing a takeoff gets the heart racing. More info to come.

3 Questions.

Post by JacDan »

1. What versions are included?
2. What aircraft was used to record engine sounds from?
3. What flight manuals were used for data? I've been trying for years to find flight manuals for the Fw 190 with no luck.

It's absolutely fantastic to see a professionally made 190 available for FS. :P

COOL :!: Very happy to see a new WOP plane :D
From the pictures it looks like there is a variety of payloads, could you say what payloads it will come with. Also when will there be a movie showing the aircrft in flight, engine start up sounds, cockpit etc. Along the lines of what JacDan asked, how many skins will it have and how many will it have per version(s).
A very nice surprise, it should go very well with Mustang :D

Hi,
This pack is radial engined version of Fw190.
What version? It is most popular versions of Fw190 as follow A3, A4, A5, A5/U12, A6, A8, A8/R8,A9, F8.
Each version have one paint scheme. I hope that soon come a lot of fantastic skins from many talented painters.

Sorry about that - the "for immediate release" is something that goes on top of the press release so people know they can post it. We won't make that mistake again.

Here is more information at the web store. It's not in the store yet, but there is a lot of good stuff on this page that we've put into the manual.

The 190 is my more favorite Axis aircraft. They can run circles around a 109.

This is an extremely good looking model Scott! :wtg:

Now all I have to do is build a new machine and reinstall FS9/WOP

My wife just mentioned that I used to look at her the way I was looking at the FW images. I reassured whats-her-name not to be rediculous, we've been happily married for 30 years.

Fortunately for me we have been quite happily married so when I announced my intention to buy a plane she just chuckled and asked if it was from "those Shockwave folks". I think she's getting suspicious.

Great work folks. I'm looking forward to it.

WOW!! Thats one incredible plane you guys have built! I'm getting it the second it comes out! I bet it sounds really loud and beefy, I can hardly wait to rattle my house with that baby!! Btw, any estimate on the release of the D Series and Ta-152s??
