P-51 autopilot

I have the P-51 for FSX. Not a big deal but I noticed that if you select the a/p and enable HDG control tha a/c will always turn North. There is a heading bug on the remote compass but it has no effect. Have I missed something in the docs or is that the way it functions?

Other than that - absolutely LOVE the a/c and the B-17!
