Another good addition ?

I think another good addition to the WOP stable would be a real good T-6 / SNJ. I have yet to find one (altho I haven't looked everywhere)!

It's a good trainer plus in our modern times if you want to transition to a high performance "tail dragger" (P-51 etc), it is highly recommended to get a real good "check out" in a T-6 before hand.

Fuel for thought!!

The AT-6 is a great airplane.

But flying the AT-6 when you have a beautiful P-51 in your hanger could be a disappointment?

I should be so lucky as to have both in my hangar!!!! My thinking was that if you where getting ready to purchase a 51, then a real good checkout in a T-6 would be advantageous!

Then again, if you couldn't afford a 51, then a T-6 wouldn't be a bad aircraft to have!!!!
