I was wondering if you were considering doing a Harvard / Texan model. Every pilot who climbed into the cockpit of a P-51 or a Spitfire, cut his teeth on a AT-6 or Harvard. I enjoy flying your P-51 and find it very realistic.

We've thought about it quite a bit. We have all the sources (sounds, photos, aircraft) we need should we do this.

Scott.

Thanks for the reply Scott! I think it would make a nice addition to your hanger.

With the Aeroworx T-6 officially (finally) on hold, it might not be a bad idea.

I've had thoughts of a Shockwave Texan for a long time too! I see so many of them every day, have flown in them, and would really love to have a perfect example in FS2004!

A Harvard would be great.

But personally, I'd love to have a P40 series!

I have KM's freeware ones and they are good, but if they were updated to the WoP standard.... :D

Cheers

Paul

In 1948 the T-6 was my Pilot class's primary and basic trainer.

Advanced training was in the B25 for multi-engine and the T-33 for single engine.

MAAM's B-25 is pretty close to the mark but I too would like to see a Shockwave T-6 and T-Bird :D

Scott,

A Harvard (NA AT6,SNJ,etc) with a good cockpit is indeed needed. I thought the guy at Daviator was going to do one but I guess not. Yes I know there are lots of good models out there and skins but there is not ONE good one with a decent 3D cockpit.

I still vote for a good NA AT6/Harvard/SNJ what ever you want to call it. You would get lots of skinners.

I have flown in one of the West Houston CAF T-6's and I would certainly buy one if shockwave did it...

I have several of your products and would absolute explode if you were to do an AT-6 "D I have thought about how nice it would be for quite a while and just joined the forum to give you my thoughts on this. I think it would be an excellent seller just because so many WWII pilots learned to fly in it, and there are still quite a few around. I think it would be very popular :) It is my fav plane and you can gurantee that I would be an "F5 breaker" from re-loading so much to see if its been relesed ;[.

Thanks for taking this into consideration :D

Trace

P.S. Count on me for at least 10 freeware repaints ;)

Scott,

If you do a Texan it would be nice if you could select which cockpit you flew in. Front or rear. Also, it would be nice to have the hood in the rear cockpit so you could do IFR training like they did in WWII. Also a mod so you could convert the rear to a .50cal gun training cockpit. The flight gear box behind the rear cockpit, you should be able to open in and see gear in it. If you need any close up pictures in the cockpit we can get them for you. We have a beautiful AT6G that just got repainted.

I'll post an image after I get it uploaded.

Here it is.....

Also, still partial to the A-26 either way....
